- How accurate are the token counts?
- OpenAI counts use OpenAI's published tokenizer and should be very close. Anthropic and Google do not publish theirs, so those counts are estimates marked with ≈.
- Are the prices up to date?
- They are starting values and can go stale. Every price is editable, and you should check the provider's pricing page before budgeting.
- Is my prompt sent anywhere?
- No. Counting happens in your browser, so your text never leaves your device.
